Have you experienced that as yet? We can only go to the register if we have the Kiosk receipt.
It seems to have only made more confusion than streamlining ordering. |

McDonald's is apparently pushing the kiosks super hard and want a certain percentage of orders to be from the kiosks.
So that store is probably just making sure they hit it by inconveniencing people.

My local mcds has one and people like to line up at the cashier anyways
It slows my food down and I like to blame the long line(usually 8+ people) for not using the kiosks Anyways you can order a side of bacon from it and other misc things like a dipping container of guacamole |

Yeah, there's one nearby that only has kiosks. I fail to see the point though since you still have to go to the register and speak to someone if you're using cash.
Also, it's really annoying that they have a separate menu for meals and the burgers. It seems like you could just have the burger there and then have the next prompt give you the option for making it a meal or not. And as stated, if you're paying with cash, you still have to go up to the register and deal with a person anyway.
If you're not looking for any honest discussion, agreement, meeting halfway or middle ground, don't bother arguing with me. Selfish narcissists need not apply.
